I vote that the contest is for stock cars only, but I hope people mod and post their times and mods to show what's possible with the platform. Once I get consistently into the 1:39s stock at MSRH, I plan to try some R7s and A7s, just out of curiosity. I'll probably do some nasa time trials in...

Well camera failed on Tuesday, so I sent it to AIM to get repaired under warranty... and OF COURSE I smash my CCW PB today without a camera: 1:40.648!!! The AIM data file is attached. Hope it helps the local guys get faster at MSRH. FYI, here's what it looks like when a smartycam 3 sport fails:

Ran CCW again today and stuck in the 1:42's. Hoping the Houston summer heat is zapping some significant power and the car is 2 seconds faster in the fall. :D

Definitely some lockup, but it has happened twice now while slightly turning out of impatience. If I keep it straight while at threshold, I'm good. Been looking for you out there. Going tomorrow and Wednesday this week...
