Rotor temps for anyone who wants the info, around 360c. Weirdly my back left had the highest temp. I also forgot to paint the pads, will do that next weekend and add that.

More awesome data guys, consider this if looking at other compounds. Our brake temperatures dont get nearly as high as a lot of GT cars and a lot of high temp compounds wont work well in the car as we don't get high enough brake temperatures. We do see the outer pad surface get a little hotter than the inner and I would also remind you brake temps depend a lot on track configuration and driver. Johns a prety good shoe so his temps will be a bit higher than a lot of other drivers but I also suspect that this was from Sebring where we get a lot of cooling between braking zones which helps to keep peak temperatures down.

I think there is only one type/brand of that multi-color shift stuff, I had the exact same piece of paper.....

The best I can figure out it does have an expiration (but not labeled as such). I tried to measure rotor temperatures after I opened the bottle a couple of years before when I upgraded my track car brake package, The paint showed crazy high temperatures (like the H color) but the paint on the actual side of the pad (that marked the version of compound) hadn't even burnt off or changed colors. I tried mixing and a few other simple things, but it always showed the ultra high temperatures. No fade, no change in color of the pad surface, or even the paint being burt off was seen on any of the pads. So we tossed the bottle. Not sure what or why... it just was...

Results using Genesis Technologies Brake Temperature Paint at Sebring.

Front Rotors:
- Outer temp is about 430 Degrees Celsius or about 806 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Inner temp is about 360 Degrees Celsius or about 720 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Both fronts showed the temps

Rear Rotors:
- Outer and Inner temp is about 580 Degrees Celsius or about 1094 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Both rears showed the same temps
