What are you guys using to clean the grease off the radiator? Any problems with using a chain cleaner spray on the radiator to dissolve the grease?

I installed this chain/radiator guard primarily to keep chain lube off the radiator and body panel. Two strips of .023 alclad. Covered the radiator strip with red duct tape to match my beautiful red chassis. 
) Note the slots in the chain guard portion. Super easy to remove and clean. Brake cleaner works great for a quick wipe down before re-lubing the chain. Not sure how effective this would be preventing damage in event of chain break but sure helps keeping things clean.
