Yes the 2023 engine, is basically the exact same engine with the exception that the throttle bodies no longer have secondary throttle plates and the primaries are electrically driven. It obviously uses a different ECU which also has control over the throttle bodies so we are able to implement the down shift blip without the air cylinder. The ECU is flashed to map the ignition timing so that the power curves of the old vs new are the same. All the changes Suzuki had made were to the low end below 5500 rpm to try and get more low end torque. That is immaterial to us so we cancel it out. The throttle pedal no longer has a throttle cable, a redundant pedal sensor controls the whole thing. The ECU also is now Can interface so we are fine tuning our AIM data interface.
